MTI corporation provides the high purity half open Quartz tube as replacement part for high temperature tubing furnaces/induction heater in universities, companies, and national labs. It comes with the specifications as the following:

O.D: 60 mm
I.D: 57.5 mm
Length: 250 mm (10")
Max. working temperature: 1200 ^oC or 2192 F.
Vaccum fitting is available in product option

Please choose one end of vacuum flange and graphite crucible at the related product below. You need grinding top edge diameter to < 54 mm to fit into 60 mm quartz tube.

You may melt metal sample in vacuum using 60mm dia half open quartz tube with flange. Please click the picture ont the right to see the details how to set a vacuum tube and order related product at below.

You may need a graphite crucible with diameter < 54 mm to put inside quartz tube and some refractory material to support the crucible, and a alumina covering lid ( 45 mm dia. )
