   EQ-GSL-2000X-25 is an ultra-high temperature furnace with 1" I.D x 6" L heating chamber up to 2000°C under inert gas for materials research. This compact furnace uses a special tungsten heating element design to reach high temperatures at very low power  (<3000W). Precision digital controller provides stable temperature control via C Type thermocouple and SCR power supply.

Temperature Stability +/- 1°C
Maximum Ramp Rates Heating Rate: 10°C/minute typical; 5°C/min at high temperatures
Cooling Rate: 10°C/minute typical; Slow/strongly temperature dependent at low temperatures
Operating Atmosphere 1 atm inert gas. or reducing gas at temperatures below approximately 2000°C.
Not suitable for high vacuum

Temperature Control
  • 30 segment Digital Program Controller provides a 4-20 mA signals to an SCR power supply.
  • Built in protection from Over-temperature and thermal couple broken
  • +/- 1°C temperature accuracy
  • PC control software and interface is available at extra cost
                            
Vacuum Fittings
  • Main chamber sealed with silicone rubber O-ring.  Outer seals standard KF seals.
  • KFD25 vacuum  port and gas inlet &outlet valve are built in
  • Vacuum gauge installed
Water Cooling
  • Water cooled two end caps 
  • 30L/min water flow required
Sample holder
  • Sample holder is driven by electric motor, and automatically move up and dow to make sample loading easy.
  • One 18 mm O.D x 16mm I.D tungsten disc is installed on the bottom thermal block  for holding a crucible or sample directly
                      
Power Supply
  • SCR power supply, 20A,  VAC208 - 240, 50/60Hz, single phase power supply
  • 4000W Max.   3000W operation

Warning
  • This high-temperature furnace is only suitable sintering oxide ceramic or material which is not sensitive to oxygen.  Not suitable for carbon or materials sensitive to oxygen
  • Attention: A two-stage pressure regulator must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure to below 3 PSI for safe operation. Click here to learn the installation of a gas regulator.
