OTF-1250X-III-H is a UL/TUV standard Hydrogen Gas tube furnace with optioanl 8'' CrNiAl or 10" FeCrAl alloy processing tube and 3 heating zones, which is designed for  annealing Ti alloy component or any air sensitive material under high vacuum and hydrogen gas upto 1250 °C.

Processing Tube
  • Option#1:  Kanthal APM alloy ( FeCrAl ) with 1250C Max. working temperature, 260 mm OD x 238 mm ID x 1300 mm L (Bottom left picture)

  • Option#2:  Cr20Ni25Al5 with 1250C Max. working temperature, 200 mm OD x 180 mm ID x 1300 mm L (Bottom right picture)
Furnace Features
  • Double layer steel case with air cooling to ensure furnace surface temperature < 60 °C
  • Energy saving high purity fibrous alumina insulation.
  • CrNiAl or  FeCrAl high-temperature alloy tube with max. working temperature of  1250 °C
  • SiC heating element with 3 heating zone and  provide 700 mm length constant temperature zone within +/- 5 °C.   
  • Metallic radiation reflection as thermal block for high vacuum 
  • Optional customized frame made of Mo or Ti alloy is available upon request to place saple inside processing tube.
  • Optional:  Splitable cover  design is available at extra cost.

Vacuum Flange
& Vaccum Gauge
  • One pair stainless steel hinged type vacuum flange is included 
    • Left flange installed with needle valve with 1/4" pipe port for gas inlet 
    • Righ flange built in K25 port and Anti-Corrosive digital vacuum gauge to connect a vacuum pump
  • Optional: water cooling flange is available upon request at extra cost.

Temperature Controllers
  • Three digital controllers with PID/self-tuning functions and 30 segments programmable.
  • Thermocouple: three K type thermocouples (one for each zone)
    Control accuracy: +/- 1°C
  • Software for PC control is available as optional ( click picture below to order )
              
Hydrogen Burning System

    • One Hydrogen burnoff column is built in left flange
    • An ignition device already installed to incinerate flowing gas and detect burner temperature to ensure H2 burner is in working condition. If H2 does not burn properly, the controller will shut down the H2 gas delivery valve immediately.
    • Warning:  You must install a certified Hydrogen detector in operation facility to alarm hydrogen leaking b accident.  If you can not find in the local store, please click the link below to order 3M hydrogen detector from us at extra cost.
    Hydrogen Detector System
          (Included)
    • One Honeywell UL Approved Sensepoint Gas Detector is Integrated into the system.
    • Working Temperature Range:   40ºF to +149ºF (-40ºC to +65ºC)
    • Alarm Point:                            H2 Limited Explosive Line 10% (10% LEL).  Once detecting H2 gas beyond the point, it will shut off the inlet valve to the H2 automatically.

     Optional
    • The tube furnace should be calibrated regularly to maintain the temperature accuracy and uniformity. We are providing a simple calibration kit for you to complete this job at extra cost The complete calibration kit includes (click the underline to see details):
    • You may consider to order turbo pump for hi-vacuum upto 10-6 torr ( click pic below right to order )
    • You may use precision gas delivery system to deliver H2 gas at constant flow
    • If  using water cold flange you may need a recirculating water chiller.

    • One year limited warranty (Consumable parts such as processing tubes, O-rings, and heating elements are not covered by the warranty).
