MSK-AFA-III (upgrade from EQ-AFA-III) automatic coater is a CE Certified machine designed to produce consistent thick film with heating cover. It has an unique driving system to produce smooth coating on all types of materials. The flat vacuum chuck is built in to hold substrate sheet on plate easily, which is particularly useful when making thin coating. One 100 mm width micrometer adjustable applicator (doctor-blade) and vacuum pump are included for immediate use. Heating cover with digital temperature controller can dry film after coating up to 200°C with a temperature accuracy of +/-1°C. This equipment can be used for research on ceramic tap casting and Li-Ion battery electrode coating.
