MTI Suuplys highquality textured single domain YBCO Disk 50 mm dia X 15 mm height . Superconducting single domain YBaCuO levitation disks with ability to trap magnetic field exhibit considerable levitation force. They are used (in combination with strong permanent magnets) in self-stabilizing frictionless magnetic bearings of very low friction. Other shapes can also be cut from the basic bulk. Maganatic Trapped field Profile

With 2 Tesla applied, the maximum trapped field on the top (seed side) was 1.1 Tesla. Measurements are in mm.

Measured with combination of NdFeB permanent magnet of 0.5 T surface magnetic field. Magnet diameter and height 30 mm. The levitation force is extrapolated to zero distance
