Whole set pressing die includes:
- One 1.0" Square core die made of hardened steel and highly polished with hardness Rc 60 - 62.
- One steel sleeve for core die protection.
- Two pushing rods (They are 12 mm and 50 mm long separately) highly polished and perfectly fitted into die.
- Two steel support plates.
- One opened steel cylinder for releasing out sample.
- Max. Pressure: 30 metric Ton.
Complete pressing die set is ready for you to make 25 mm square sample pellet.
Size of the Steel Sleeve.
- Height: 50 mm
- Diameter: 62.5mm

Cautions:
- Please must always wear protection goggles during operation !!!

Please use alcohol to clean the pressing die every time before use and store it in a dry place with antirust oil after operation to avoid rusting on the surface, because all pressing dies are made by high-stretched carbon steel for achieving high hardness to meet essential requirements of making ceramic or metal samples. Otherwise, the pressing surface could probably get scratched.
How to make sample pellet?

- Mixing and grinding chemical powder by agate mortar
- Calcine the mixed powder in a high temp furnace under suitable temperature
- Grind the calcined powder again by mortar
- Put calcined powder in to the die
- Press the sample by a pressing machine under suitable pressure
- Take out pellet sample from die
- Sinter the pellet under suitable temperature
- Then, a new material sample is formed!
Attention:
1. Please click the link below to see our demonstration video of using pressing die with round pressing core. The operation procedure of 1'' square pressing die is the same as the round pressing die.

2. The only difference between round and square die is that the square pressing core can only been inserted into the die cavity in just one orientation. Once you received the die, please try different direction until you can fully insert the pressing core.
