Whole set pressing die includes:
- One 14.85 mm I.D. core die made of hardened steel and highly polished with hardness Rc 60 - 62.
- One steel sleeve for core die protection.
- Two pushing rods highly polished and perfectly fitted into die.
- Two steel support plates.
- One pressing pole for releasing sample from die only.
- One opened steel cylinder for pushing out sample.
- Max. Pressure: 24 metric Tone.
Complete pressing die with 14.85 mm ( +/-0.01mm) I.D. is ready for you to make 12.75 mm diameter sample pellet (after fired)

Cautions:
- Please must always wear protection goggles during operation !!!

Please use alcohol to clean the pressing die every time before use and store it in a dry place with antirust oil after operation to avoid rusting on the surface, because all pressing dies are made by high-stretched carbon steel for achieving high hardness to meet essential requirements of making ceramic or metal samples. Otherwise, the pressing surface could probably get scratched.
How to make sample pellet?

- Mixing and grinding chemical powder by agate mortar
- Calcine the mixed powder in a high temp furnace under suitable temperature
- Grind the calcined powder again by mortar
- Put calcined powder in to the die
- Press the sample by a pressing machine under suitable pressure
- Take out pellet sample from die
- Sinter the pellet under suitable temperature
- Then, a new material sample is formed!
