Whole set pressing die includes:

One 0.75" I.D. core die made of hardened steel and highly polished with hardness Rc 60 - 62.
One steel sleeve for core die protection.
Two pushing rods highly polished and perfectly fitted into die.
Two steel support plates.
One pressing pole for releasing sample from die only.
One opened steel cylinder for pushing out sample.
Max. Pressure : 58 metric Tone.

Complete pressing die with 0.75 " I.D. is ready for you to make 17- 18 mm diameter sample pellet

Cautions:

Please must always wear protection goggles during operation !!!
Please clean the prssing die before use and save it in a dry place with silica gel after opeation to avoid rusting on the surface. Because all pressing dies are made by high-stretched carbon steel for achieving high hardness to meet essential requirement of makinig ceramic or metal samples.
How to make sample pellet?
- Mixing and grinding chemical powder by agate mortar
- Calcine the mixed powder in a high temp furnace under suitable temperature
- Grind calcined powder again by mortar
- Put calcined powder into the die
- Pressing sample by a pressing machine under suitable pressure
- Take out pellet sample from die
- Sintering the pellet under suitable temperature
- Then, a new material sample is formed!
