MTI Corporation provides the high purity quartz tube as the replacement part for high-temperature tube furnaces/induction heaters in universities, companies, and national labs. It can be used at operating temperature up to 1200ºC.

Since Nov 10, 2016, we no longer accept return delivery of any tubes due to the fragile nature of the materials. All tubes are not refundable, not exchangeable, nor covered under the warranty (Consumables). We apologize for the inconvenience. Please check the package for damages before accepting the delivery. Application Notes

- For vacuum sealing, please choose vacuum flanges at the related products below
- You may melt metal samples in a vacuum using a 60mm dia half-open quartz tube with a flange. Please click the picture on the left to see the details and order related products below (You will need to grind the crucible's top edge diameter to <54mm to fit into this quartz tube)
- Vacuum pressures may only be safely used up to 1000°C
- The flow rate for gases should be limited to<200 SCCM (or 200ml/min) for reducing thermal shocks to the tube
- Quartz tubes are designed for using under vacuum and low pressure < 0.2 bars / 3 psi / 0.02 MPa
- You may order some Refractory Material to support the crucible, and an Alumina Crucible Lid (45mm dia)
