SKJ-BG1650 is a 1650°C max. Bridgman furnace for directional solidification and single crystal growth with a boule size up to Ø37mm. The vertical furnace has three independently controlled heating zones with a total heating length of 300 mm to set up different temperature gradients for crystal growth. In contrast to other Bridgeman systems, SKJ-BG1650 keeps the melt stationary while moving the furnace up to control the temperature gradient, ensuring the stability of the growth interface.
The sample rotational stage can be added at an additional cost for single crystal growth.

- Three B type thermocouples (one for each zone).

Furnace Travel Distance & Speed |
- As the furnace heater moves upward, the crucible is moving toward the bottom exit of the furnace where the lower temperature is seen.
- The maximum travel distance of the furnace heater is 200 mm.
- Travel speed: 0.03-3 mm/hr

- 10E-2 torr via dual-stage mechanical vacuum pump (bottom right picture)
