GSL-1200X-MGI-8 is a compact 8 channels tube furnace with 20mm O.D. and sealing flange for high throughout heat treatment research of alloy and ceramic material up to 1200°C.  t is an excellent tool to research phase diagram in MGI new generation material.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Furnace Structure

  • The furnace consists of 8 small tube furnace modules with quartz tube 20mm O.D. x 17mm I.D. x 192mm L 
  • Each heating module is separated by insulation material with air cooling layer, no temperature influence each other
  • Each heating module's temperature is controlled independently up to 1200°C
  • Quick seal flange, vacuum gauge, and flow meter are installed to allows heat treatment under vacuum or flowing gas
  • Processing 8 samples with different temperature at compact space 
  • The furnace system consists of two units: a furnace and a transformer box

  • NiCrAl alloy wire

Working Temperature &
Constant Temperature Zone

  • Continuous Working Temperature 1100° C
  • Maximum Working Temperature 1200°C (< 1 hrs)
  • Constant temperature zone:  
    • +/- 2°C within center 20 mm cubic zone
    • +/- 5°C within center 55 mm cubic zone
Processing Tube & Flange


  • 8 High purity Quartz tube with 20mm O.D. x 17mm I.D. x 192mm L are included
  • 8 Quickly clamped flange with 1/8 gas inlet and outlet, as well as vacuum ports are built in (see pic below)
  • 16 needle valves are optional to connect to gas inlet and outlet for gas flow control
  • 8 vacuum port in the back will be connected to vacuum pump via 8 to 1 adaptor
  • Only one vacuum pump required via a KF25 port. Click the picture below to choose a vacuum pump
  • Max. Vacuum 10^-2 torr by a mechanical pump and 10^-5 torr by turbopump
  •             
Temperature Control

  • 8 channel heating tube is controlled independently by 30 segments programmable temperature controller
  • 8 K type Thermal Couple
  • PC control software is included, which can control 8 channel heaters by one Laptop

  • +/- 1°C

Power & Working Voltage

  • 2.5 KW, 208 - 240V single phase, 50/60Hz (if 4 heating modules operation at the same time )
  • Note: Power cable included but without a plug. Please install a plug on your own. You may purchase a plug from your local hardware store or browse our catalog for a compatible plug

Laptop, software & WiFi Control (Optional)

  • Brand new laptop with Microsoft Window 10 and Microsoft Office 2013 (30 days free trial) available at extra cost.
  • Labview Based Temperature Control System (EQ-MTS01) enables the user to edit temperature profile, manage heat-treatment recipe, record and plot data for MTI furnaces.
  • A wireless remote control provides up to 300 meters operating range.
  • Above features are available upon request at an extra cost (up to $1,000). Please contact us for more information.
  • Note: The software is only compatible with MTI’s Yudian Temperature Controller.
  • 10 Channels furnace with PLC control is available upon request at the extra cost (Pic. right)
