For determining the electrical plug that is suitable for a particular equipment, please find out its wattage requirements and divide this power rating by the voltage of your building's power supply. For example, the 2500W (2.5KW) OTF-1200X-NT furnace system with a power supply voltage of 208V requires a current draw of about 12A*. Then taking a 20% of power fluctuations into account, one can choose a plug rated for 15A 250V**.
NOTE: * Calculated using the P = VI equation from Watt's Law where: P = power, V = voltage, and I = current.
** Please consult a certified electrician to determine the appropriate current rating of the plug in order to comply with your local electrical regulations.
International customers who need plugs that are not listed in this section may find the suitable plugs from their country and employ the service of a qualified electrician to install the plugs onto the equipment.
Information on plugs for other countries can be found at: http://www.worldstandards.eu/electricity.htm#plugs_i
