VGB-4A-LD is a heavy-duty stainless steel glove box equipped with airlock chamber, gauges, and vacuum flanges, which allows the glove box to vacuum the chamber to remove moisture and oxygen without expensive inert gas purging, It is an ideal tool for material and chemical researchers to process air sensitive materials and solutions.

Case Material: Made of 11 gauge (3mm thickness) 304 stainless steel sheet which provides the heavy-duty structure for vacuum

Max. Positive Pressure: 810 Torr (1.1 atm)

Note: Gloves cannot work if pressure is higher than 810 Torr

Max. Vacuum Level: 0.5 Torr by a > 240 L/m rotary pump

Vacuum Gauge and Valves

One vacuum gauge is installed in the airlock chamber.
1 set of 1/2" barbed needle valve and 1 KF-25 Vacuum port built-in airlock chamber.
1 KF40 port and 2 1/2" barbed needle valves are built on the chamber side of the glove box.
2 sets KF25 ports are built on the back of the glove box chamber.
3 sets KF40 ports are built on the back of the glove box chamber for connecting to the gas purification system.

One year limited warranty with lifetime support.
Rusting and damage due to improper storage conditions or maintenance are not covered by warranty.
Gloves are consumable items and are not covered under warranty.

Operation Manual

Application Notes

By closing the vacuum flange, the glove box can be vacuumed by a mechanical pump up to 0.5 Torrs before filling inert gas, (moisture can be below 180 ppm and oxygen below 200 ppm). Then you can save at least 1-2 tanks of inert gas from purging at each operation.
Please call or email us to get a price and lead time for the multi-pin feedthrough on the glove box if you need to measure the sample inside the chamber.
