     MSK-NFES-1U is a cost-effective & user-friendly, multi-functional bench-top electrospinning system. It provides two 5-channel syringe pumps, which allows 10 nozzles installed at the same time. The high voltage DC power supply delivers a 0-30 kV output voltage range with a maximum current capacity of 1 mA.  A stationary plate collector and rotating drum collector are included along with the unit.  
    MSK-NFES-1U fume hood provides an enclosed atmosphere with transparent side walls to monitor the electrospinning process. Inside the fume hood, an exhaust fan is installed which can provide dehumidification. Also, a humidity monitor is installed to monitor temperature and humidity. 
    MSK-NFES-1U is an excellent electrospinning system to explore a wide range of material or composite.

High Voltage Power Supply

  • 24VDC input for safe operation

Dual-Channel Syringe Pump
  • Two syringe pumps are installed with the independent operation
  • Each pump can install 5 nozzles for spraying at the same injection rate at the same time.
  • Pumping rate: 0.01 mL/h ~ 99.99 mL/h adjustable for each pump
  • 10 nozzle can injection at the same time for a different solution.
Swing Fixture
  • Swing head is built inside the hood with adjustable speed by the control panel
    • Oscillation distance:   0 - 280 mm    adjustable
    • Oscillation speed:       0 - 300 mm/minute adjustable 
  • Total 10 nozzles can be installed on the fixture and injection during oscillation
  •  Rach nozzle will connect to the syringe pump via the included 3 mm dia. plastic pipes 
Injection Nozzles

  • 12 Nozzles with 0.34mm I.D. which is made of stainless steel. 
  • One piece of co-axis nozzle with dual inlet is included, which allows you to inject two kinds of the fiber-forming solutions in one nozzle (  click Pic. 1 & 2 below ).  The extra co-axis nozzle is available at the extra cost.

  • Two types of collectors are included as a standard accessory 
    • Mandrel collectors for electrospinning (Pic. 1)
      • Size: 76mm length x 200mm Dia.
      • Speed: 1 - 1000 rpm (can be upgraded to high-speed collector: max 4500 rpm)
    • Plate collector for nanofiber-collecting (Pic. 2)  ( insert to mandrel collector without mpving )
      • 230 mm x 230 mm x 4 mm thick stainless steel plate with grounding
Fume Hood
  • A small unit of a fume hood with nozzles, collector, fan system, and lights inside
  • Transparent glass windows on the front and both sides for easy monitoring of the electrospinning process
  • Footprint: 560 mm (L) x 480 mm (W) x 590 mm (H)
  • A touch screen controller which controls pumping speed, collector rotary speed, nozzle moving speed, and exhaust fan
Humidity Monitor

  • A humidity monitor is integrated into the fume hood for monitoring the humidity level (RH%) ranging from 2% - 95% (Click left picture for more details)

  • Be cautious of using hazardous materials. The working chamber of this unit is not flame-proof, explosive proof or vacuum-sealed. Contact your health and safety department manager for detailed material handling instruction. If you need a vacuum-sealed safety chamber please consider the MSK-USP-06.
