Personalization

Optional jar and ball
MSK-SFM-1 (upgraded from EQ-SFM-1) is a Planetary Ball Mill designed for mixing, fine grinding, and preparing small volume high-tech material production, which features small volume, high efficiency, low noise, and Lock clamps. If choosing an optional vacuum jar, it can grind samples under the vacuum condition or be filled with inert gas. The product is extensively used in the fields of Geology, Mining, Metallurgy, Electronics, Construction Material, Ceramics, Chemical Engineering, Light Industry, Medicine, Environmental Protection, etc.
MSK-SFM-1 has four ball grinding tanks installed on one turning plate. When the plate rotates, the tank axis makes the planetary rotation in opposite directions and the balls in the tanks grind and mix samples in high-speed movement. The product can smash and blend various products of different materials and granularity with dry or wet methods. (Note: The granularity of grand products is dependent on the material properties, size, and quantity of milling media and processing time. According to the customer's feedback, minimum granularity can be as small as 0.1 um).

     Application Notes
  • SS304 mixing jars are suitable for grinding various metal materials
  • For milling the oxide material, please choose alumina/Nylon jars and zirconia media. DO NOT USE stainless steel balls in Alumina jars
  • Must place 4 jars or 2 in symmetrical with similar weight in the ball mill to keep balance during rotation, If using one jar, you must put another jar with the same weight in a symmetrical position. Otherwise, unbalance rotation, especially one jar, may damage the machine
  • If you need a forced-air cooling jar for some ductile materials, please click the picture below to order a  Portable Spot Air Cooling Conditioner, which will keep the milling jar's temperature below 30°C
  • Please consider our SYU-3 Ultrasonic Filtration System for filtering the product
