MSK-SFM-1S is a compact planetary ball mill designed to be operated on the table. 4 grinding stations with 100ml SS milling jars allow you to prepare up to 4 different materials (alloys, ceramics, chemical products, polymer composites, metal oxides, minerals...) in an effective way. Such a tool has been extensively used in the fields of Geology, Mining, Metallurgy, Electronics, Construction Material, Ceramics, Chemical Engineering, Light Industry, Medicine, and Environmental Protection, etc. The optional multi-cavity jars is an ideal solution whenever high throughput material grinding/mixing is needed.

  • High throughput processing is feasible thanks to the 4-cavity SS jar. 16 different materials can be processed at the same time with 4 jars. Please click the bottom left image to see the details.

   Application Notes

  • SS304 mixing jar is suitable for grinding various metal materials
  • For milling the oxide material, please choose alumina / Nylon jars and zirconia media. DO NOT USE stainless steel balls in Alumina jars. 
  • Must place 4 jars or 2 in symmetrical with similar weight in the ball mill to keep balance during rotation, If using one jar, you must put another jar with the same weight in a symmetrical position.  Otherwise, unbalance rotation, especially one jar, may damage the machine.
