YLJ-40TA-PE is an electric lab press up to 40 metric tons to prepare the compound ceramic or powder metallurgical sample. The electric hydraulic pump is separated from the pressing machine, which makes maintenance and replacement at easy. The pump's pressure is 30 segments programmable for pressure and dwells time. One KF40 feedthrough is installed with the high-pressure pipe, which allows customers to can use the press inside the glovebox.

- 208-240VAC, 50/60Hz (110V version is available via 1000W transformer)
- 180 W AC motor
- Built-in digital pressure controller, which is 30 segments programmable to set up multi-pressure and dwell time during raising pressure. ( not for drop pressure )
- One pump speed controller is built in to adjust pump speed
- One KF40 feed-through installed on the pipe, which allows the pipe is inserted into a glovebox and connect to press machine
- RS485 port is built-in on the control panel for PC operation.
- PC software based on Labview is available upon request at the extra cost. ( You must inform us in advance if you need PC operation, and suggest you buy a laptop from us for pre-test )

Application Notes |
- The pressing die cannot be used for pressing powder with a particle size < 30 microns. Small particles may slip into the gap between pushing rod and steel sleeve and cause damages to the sleeve during the compression. Ball mill and sieve the powder and apply only the 32~75 microns powder to the pressing die to avoid the damages. Please consider using the 3'' Dia. Sieve Set No.200&450 Mesh to separate the 32~75 microns particles from the powder clumps. Please clean the mold via ethanol after the completion of each experiment
- Do not raise the bottom cylinder (piston) more than its maximum traveling distance (25 mm)
- The press can be put in a glovebox
 
- Warning: Customers must always wear protective goggles during operation !!!
