YLJ-CIP-E30T is an electric cold isostatic pressing (CIP) with 30mm ID pressure vessel made by ultra strength alloy, which can provide isostatic pressure up to 300 Mpa.The jack has a built-in 24VDC electric hydraulic pump with precise pressure controller to keep a constant pressure automatically. It is an excellent tool for material/ceramic/chemistry laboratories to prepare high-density compound pellets and small diameter rods.  This electric press also can be used as pellet ot CSP pressing if remove CIP die and put a pellet or heating die

Gauge Pressure Value to Force Conversion

  • For calculating the actual pressure (MPa) applied on your working piece, please follow the equations in below:
  • P = T/(πr^2) x g x 10
    • P: Pressure (MPa) applied on your working piece
    • T: Force (Ton) applied on the Hydraulic Cylinder 
    • g: Standard gravity. g ≈ 9.8 m/s2
    • π: ~3.14
    • r: Radius (cm) of the working piece
    • *1 Metric Ton = 1000 kg; 1 MPa ≈ 10 kgf/cm2

Application Notes
  • Check the Oil Level regularly using the included oil dipstick. Add AW 46 Hydraulic Oil if the Oil Level when low.
  • The pressing die cannot be used for pressing powder with the particle size < 30 microns. Small particles may slip into the gap between the pressing rod and the sleeve, and cause damage to the sleeve during the compression. Ball mill and sieve the powder with 200 - 450 mesh (30 ~ 80 microns). Apply only the power within this range to avoid the damages. Please consider using the 3'' Dia. Sieve Set No.200&450 Mesh (Click the picture below to order) to separate the 30 ~ 80 micron particles from the powder clumps. Please clean the mold using ethanol after each use
  • Do not raise the bottom cylinder (piston) more than it's maximum traveling distance. (20 mm)
  • Caution: Operator must always wear protective goggles during operation!
  • Operating the press inside a glove box is not recommended
